Why God would allow Satan/evil/the enemy to exist? A question many of us come to during our walk with Christ.
God didn't make us robots. He gave us free-will. You can't see the good without evil and you can't know what is evil without the good. God didn't make us robots that do His will all the time. He gave us free-will, the ability to choose. He gave us the opportunity to choose good and frankly, we don't always choose good. Ultimately, God will throw all evil into the Lake of Fire forever. Until then, we can choose. It's like you can't please everybody....do you want free-will from our Creator or not? It's all by design. His design.
If God is all Powerful & Loving Why Does Evil Exist? A powerful 10 minutes.
Instead of asking why God allows bad things to happen, ask Him how He allows us another day on this earth knowing what we did and thought yesterday.

Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?
Our adversary: Satan, the Devil, Lucifer, or 'the enemy' is known by a number of names in Scripture. All of these names point to his evil character. The chief characteristics we find in this creature are his hostility, cunning, power, and evil intent toward God and His people. Link for more info on that here: Blue Letter Bible App
This is something I'm studying hit or miss right now. So maybe down the line I can add my findings here. Until then, God bless you! I hope this short note and the short video helped.

What happened in the "Old Testament" was the direct result of man being disobedient and being wise in their own eyes.

Jesus left us with the Holy Spirit because man has been polluting the Gospel since forever. I believe if Jesus were here today, He'd be flipping some tables over all the 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞,…
I wanted to share this Job because my social media feed is full is sickness, suffering, death, bad news, and evil.
I share about a lot of it, too (at times), but only because it helped me to understand why I don't put my faith and trust in man. I am testifying!
We can't just dwell on the bad things and forget the goodness of God.
Through the goodness of God, I can look evil in the face and call it out and remain in the faith. Praise God for that!
This world, the things of it, and this flesh will pass away. Your spirit has an eternal destiny.

I used to be confused by this, myself. Why did God allow these things to proceed? I would like to encourage us all to keep reading and keep studying for understanding if we are truly seeking His face and not our own understanding.
Just because it's in the bible, does not mean God "endorsed it". The bible does not white wash God's people or biblical history. God also did not make us robots; he gave us the ability to choose. Sometimes those choices had consequences.

Some of this may sound familiar as I have shared much of it before, some you will see here in this comment section. I pray it blesses someone as it did me! Please forgive me for the repetition, but some of it is so very important.

As I'm reading the OT, I am reminded how evil the times were. We are seeing it happening again now. 😭
God is patient and merciful. I am reading in Judges right now and seeing how merciful He was. He always sent a deliverer when Israel turned their backs on God. Every time.
He gave us Jesus. His life. Because He wanted us here in fellowship with Him. To glorify Him. To speak on His mercy and grace. All those events happened and are supposed to be for our learning! 😭
But we don't. We keep doing the same thing over and over. Our hope is in Jesus! He gives us life abundantly!
My heart is just full! 😭🙌
