A Comprehensive Look at the Most Addictive User Interface Ever

Updated: Jul 7, 2023

They created the most addictive user interface ever.

Reduced attention spans.

Artificial sense of feeling important, liked, and appreciated.

Once the pleasure dries up, your body needs its next dopamine hit - which keeps you coming back again and again.

An in-depth look:

By us continuing to use and support these products, we are giving our seal of approval to be data mined to heck and back. However, being data mined is only the half of it.

The rest is much sicker and the proof is throughout this post.

When my daughter was little....and just started using her iPad, her Dad and I noticed that she was seeing ads not fit for children during games geared for little children. Very inappropriate ads. But when he and I would get on, we didn't see those ads. The ads would change for us.

You know why? Because those apps access your camera and mic.

They know if you are a child or an adult; your mind is strategically targeted. That was about 10 years ago that we experienced that; I can't imagine how much better the tech has gotten.

Anyways.

The following information is helpful, yes. But because my family has experienced it first hand and saw it with our own eyes with our young child, the research really wasn't even necessary.

Some of us need that kick in the pants or see more evidence, though. So I'm going to put what I have here on this post.

Just food for thought. It should tick people off that they even do this. It should make people feel manipulated. Right?

Our children are growing up in a cyber, filtered, technological, mind-controlled, avatar driven world.

As little as two hours of screen time per day can impair a child’s thinking and language skills, interfere with sleep, and increase anxiety and depression. More on that in the comment section below.

(I bet it's similar for adults. It really depends on how much and WHAT media is being consumed.)

Some of this research caused me beg the question:

"Are some of my thoughts, desires, passions, etc even my own?"

Who has the guts to ask themselves that question?

Who is humble enough to ask that question these days?

"The Guy Who Reverse-Engineered TikTok Reveals The Things He Learned.

He Advises People To Stay Away From It"

Why though? You freaking fun sucker. Why stay away from it??

Facebook got itself into a sensitive data scandal when it did shady business with Cambridge Analytica, Instagram confirmed a security issue exposing user accounts and phone numbers, but these apps are basically online security havens when compared to TikTok, according to one senior software engineer with about 15 years of professional experience.

2 months ago, Reddit user bangorlol made a comment in a discussion about TikTok.

Bangorlol claimed to have successfully reverse-engineered it and shared what he learned about the Chinese video-sharing social networking service. Basically, he strongly recommended that people never use the app again, warning about its intrusive user tracking and other issues. Considering that TikTok was the 4th most popular free iPhone app download in 2019, this is quite alarming.

Click the image below to keep reading on Bangorlol's findings. (Side thought, that name Bangorlol, just seems trollish! Haha. Anyways.)

Give the article time to load as it's an archived version on the way back machine to preserve it.

"After just 12 hours of TikTok app installed.. over 15,000 hits to "Clever Tap", a SaaS platform for apps/marketers/... to analyze app usage and many more things.

So in English or layman's terms, TikTok is off the chain and no different than having malware or spyware on your device."

(Below image and info is from Giovanni after installing TikTok for research purposes)

Okay, okay. We're being data mined. We already knew that and we don't care. So what else ya got? Hm?

The plot thickens.

This investigation revealed a sick plot. Up to you on if it's an acceptable level of sick. That ball is in your court to discern.

I'm just sharing the info before we're all acclimated to this nutty normal.

The Journal created automated accounts that watched thousands of videos to uncover how the social media network knows you so well.

"They created the most addictive user interface ever. Reduced attention spans. Artificial sense of feeling important, liked, and appreciated. Once the pleasure dries up, your body needs its next dopamine hit - which keeps you coming back again and again.

This can be said about most social media, but TikTok has taken it next level and this research shows that."

My friend Jerren from AoC Network exposed TikTok's deeper 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧. Just sick. Keep watching until the end. It started out an investigation on one thing, but revealed a much deeper and sicker plot geared toward children. Smh.

The next two videos were put out by one of my favorite content creators:

Truthstream Media.

Some closing thoughts if you have read and listened to the above information....

Remember how Trump was saying TikTok was a "weapon from China" and wanted to ban the Chinese social media platform?

This is how they tell us the truth in plain sight and they aren't held accountable. They told us the truth through Trump and people didn't care. This is one way controlled opposition works. Kind of like how Alex Jones would say many things that turned out to be right. They let a "raving lunatic" tell us nuggets of "truth".

They make a mockery of it. Jokes. When in all reality, it's not a joke. At all. And most of the time, the truth comes out way later. They use outrageous personalities so that the truth seems far fetched, but they are "freed from karmic retribution" if they tell us the truth no matter how it's told or who it came from.

I am trying to explain this very simply. I pray it's legible. If you read it and takeaway that I said Trump and Alex Jones are truth speakers and you should go follow them, I don't know what to tell you. Because that is NOT what I said.

I wrote a little bit on how and why 'shills' are used to bring us some truth (they always have some lunacy or lies intertwined). It sucks when something resonates as truth to you and then you find out they were a shill.

The Thing About Shills - Shills can share some meat; that's how they reel you in. You chew the meat and spit out the bones. But also keep in mind this that someone can slowly poison you with information, too!

Compartmentalization - How to fool the whole world. Bear with me on this one. Since I shared it, I have moved on from some of what is mentioned. Discern as you see fit.

By us continuing to use and support these products, we are giving our seal of approval to be data mined to heck and back. But not just data mined, that's only the half of it.

The rest is much sicker and the proof is throughout this post.

I have allowed my child to be exposed to way too much of it over the years. Even with everything I've known for so long. I've put this together to possibly help others not make the same mistakes we have in our family. Media shapes the generations - the proof is tangible.

Those mistakes inspired me to put 'The Battle For the Mind' post together if you would like to read it also:

With alllllll this being said, discern as you see fit and do all things for the glory of God.

This is the world we live in and seemingly there's not much we can do about it, but there are some things we can do individually, in my opinion.

That's up to each individual, though. I am not one to tell anyone what to do because we're all hot messes in our own ways. But we gotta help each other out. I choose not to have these apps on my phone, for one. That's just one example I'm willing to share.

When I learn things, I try to share some of what I learn. All of this seems pretty important.

Have a blessed day!

Do not be fooled when comfort, convenience, and efficiency is sold to us. Be discerning.

Good listen for parents or even youth - or anyone for that matter, that's insulted by the media being just straight dumb and what it's doing to people's brains.

The Disturbing Reason Why Tiktok is SO different in China

While after some time, you may be able to control your feed, not all individuals (dare I say most) will be able to turn away from the 'suggested posts'. This goes for all social media. The algorithm is very powerful. It's watching for how long you watch something, if you read the comments, if you share it, if you react to it, if you pause it/rewind it, etc. If it's not edifying or something you WANT to see, click off of it as soon as possible.

How We Got Tricked Into Content Addiction

"A wealth of information creates a poverty of attention." - Herbert Simon The top comment says this of the narrator for this channel, "This guy unhealthily hates every aspect of modern society."

Why immediately think that way when someone is presenting information? I mean, the narrator is using modern technology to relay his message; so obviously he doesn't hate it. I took it as a warning to use our time wisely and be careful what we give our attention to. To be intentional on how we use these dopamine driven online tools that's affecting our attention spans greatly and how the need for instant gratification is seeping into every aspect of our lives. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
